Charlie Kidder

Writing Intern

Charlie is a senior studying Marketing with a minor in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management. Charlie joined the SciComm Lab in the fall of 2020 with the hopes of improving his writing skills, his ability to analyze scientific content, and his knowledge on both local and international environmental issues. He has a strong interest in intersectional environmentalism and plans on attending graduate school to pursue a degree in public policy.

When Charlie is not writing for the SciComm Lab, he spends much of his free time riding bikes, playing hockey, and, thanks to quarantine, playing chess. He volunteers for a local non-profit, the East Phillips Neighborhood Institute, and helps to spread awareness on the East Phillips Neighborhood’s fight for environmental justice.
